Born in Norway, Morten has a MSc. in Marine Engineering from the Norwegian Institute of Technology. Since he joined ExxonMobil in 1982, he has been engaged in the company’s offshore operations both in Norway and in the U.S. Morten moved to the UAE in August 2009 to resume the position of Lead Country Manager for ExxonMobil companies in Abu Dhabi. He is the President of Exxon (Al Khalij) Inc. and ExxonMobil Abu Dhabi Offshore Petroleum Company Ltd., and also serves on the boards of Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO) and Zakum Development Company (ZADCO). |
